DOOD
What if the government of the United States added a cabinet-level agency charged with but one concern: drawing.

Department of Omnibus Omnipresent Drawing, a collection, pretends that this agency is real, and sits in the DOOD Secretary's red leather chair.

DOOD is the gathered talent of artists a cabinet-level shoot of the executive branch might call upon were Congress to enact a law requiring that the U.S. government shall understand the American people as a national culture in the 21st century and shall form such understanding through the artistic act of ink drawn on paper.

The collection is actively being assembled by Michael and Michele Cavendish to include a diverse corpus of achievements of new American draftsmanship, with each work and its making revealing a facet of the new American diadem.
