LOV!
'Lay on, Vainglory!' (LOV!) is a recurring project in which an emerging American contemporary artist is provided with funds to scale up their practice through the achievement of a large new work.

The title is an oblique reference to Shakespeare’s MacBeth and an oblique criticism of the art market and the hypercommercialized star artists of the early 21st century.

LOV! encourages and facilitates, in the words of Bomb Magazine’s Michael Goldberg, the struggle to achieve "the heroic painting."

LOV! proceeds by invitation.
